I used this app to dictate a report for work because Im so slow at typing. The results were great and all I had to do was a quick spell check on Word(after emailing it to myself) and then clean it up. After I familiarize myself with the software (stating punctuation, etc.) I feel like this will an invaluable tool. Excellent app and highly recommended. Gave it 4 instead of 5 only because the keyboard is a little unresponsive, but that may just be my phone or fat fingers.

This app seems to transcribe things accurately about 85% of the time, and thus is far superior to trying to dictate by simply using the phones microphone. Unfortunately, it also is good for chewing up your work. I have had hours wasted dictating and getting things perfect and having the app either not send the note or lose the note because a pop-up appeared on the screen. There needs to be a way that things are automatically saved, or at the very least, it should be harder to have things vanish into the ether.

This app used to be indispensable for daily messaging. However, after my most recent upgrade of iOS, the editing function fails totally, closing the app at the first touch. Recognition has also degraded. My guess this is Apple programmers working to marginalize a good product. Unfortunately, Apple can destroy w/o offering a better substitute, even on the own iOS platform. Maybe time for a revolution!

This is the best speech recognition app. But please upgrade it and make it suitable for the latest iOS. Thanks to the developers.

Unable to use app, it opens to a darken record screen unable to touch anything or use the app.

Wow, this is bad. Not only does it not allow more than 60 seconds (thus making them hypocrits when they say you can use the app to transcribe "lengthy emails"), but everu fourth or fifth word is completely wrong. Some are even in entirely different languages. Definitely needs a lot more work.

I dont see why this app is even available in the App Store. It recognizes so few words that its worse than useless, its a time waster.

Useless, just error message about the microphone which works perfectly with Siri.

I love this app! Its so simple yet functional. It makes reading and taking notes funner and easier. Perfect for any student

Dont bother

I love this app! In fact, Im using it to write this review. It works so much better than the dictation app that comes with the iPhone. I love it so much that Im actually going to buy the PC version. With two clicks, you can send your words to your messaging, Twitter, and Facebook. The app makes it easy to copy and paste your words to any other program. It also doesnt cut you off and do crazy spellchecking which many times made me work harder at editing my regular iPhone text message than typing it at all. Its incredibly easy to use because the functions are like what youve used in the past. Its definitely the best app Ive ever downloaded, and its free! You definitely need this app.

I do like this app a lot but, with siri and all those tts apps, I dont really have any use for this

Overall the app is surprisingly responsive to my voice, and aside from having to clarify punctuation, its very simple to use

I used to be able to dictate my narratives for my reports after each call and send it to my email for editing or send for review. Now I cant send it anywhere no matter how many times I change my settings or new accounts I create!

The dictation quality is superb, but it really needs some kind of a save function. It constantly deletes your entire dictation. E.g. when I tried to email the dictation to myself, it made a *whoosh* sound as if it emailed, then deleted the entire dictation. NO EMAIL WAS EVER SENT. I tried this with the text message feature as well, with the same problem. No text was ever sent. Copy works okay, but the transitivity of the dictation text is a HUGE deal breaker.

Great app until today...iPhone and iPad app now useless.

Worst technical support ever. I called the only number I could find only to be told to go back to the website and then was hung up on. Insanely inappropriate.

Works Great! But not today. Whats going on???

From my laptop, it didnt work well but using this application on my iPod it is precise and accurate, its marvelous!

You have to go slow. It constantly stops. It constantly cant connect. Apple Voice Memo is a better option.
